Barb saved our pet family...

"We were to the point of having to re-home one of our two black lab female siblings due to aggression, (fighting, some blood drawn), over food and competition for attention from their humans. Our girls NO LONGER FIGHT AT ALL.

Barb saved our pet family for us. They have learned lots of obedience commands, work much better on the leash and the tension in the house has resolved.

Barb is a total PRO. She made the best use of our time, was always prompt, polite and attentive to our needs."

Let a professional train your dog, then train you!

Do you have a dog and realize you really don't have the time to dedicate to training right now? Or have you tried training and found that it was a frustrating experience for both you and the dog?

Learning the mechanical skills necessary for dog training can be a challenge. Dog trainers agree that most of our time is spent training humans rather than dogs. Dogs pick up things pretty quickly when the trainer has the correct timing and gives clear, concise cues.

As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, I can take the lead in teaching your dog. Once the dog understands the skills, the leash can be turned over to you. Less stress for everyone!

Each Private Tutoring experience is customized and unique. The lessons plans will be developed based on what is important to your family. I will visit your home three times a week to work directly with the dog. I can do this while you're away at work and give your dog a mid-day break as well. The third session of the week can involve family members to get caught up on what the dog has been working on and to learn how to give cues and deliver reinforcement.

Skills taught can include the basics, like "sit", "down", "stay"; come when called; polite behaviors to include greeting without jumping, waiting at doorways; leash walking; becoming comfortable with body handling; dealing with fear issues. Each hour long session will also include a potty break and interactive playtime. A report card will be left after each session.

Fees for Private Tutoring
